Stumbled upon a (supposedly) rare Ford F350 7.3 V8 Diesel for sale near to where I live (opposite end of the country from the U.S.A.F. bases).

GVW of 8.5 tonnes? You'll be needing a Class C licence for a start. It'll drink diesel of course and good luck finding parts but that goes with the territory as it were. Having said all that if it's sufficiently cheap it'll find a (specialised) market.
